My parents (my father particularly) are taking away my (although it's not mine, but I use it the most, so it's safe to declare it mine) computer, in the hopes that it will motivate me to get good grades.

I'm definitely not going to cooperate, so expect me to not be on for a very long time.

They've done this before. They took away computer, television, and video games for all of 6th and 7th grade for me.

I failed both years anyways.

The longest this could go on for is probably until summer, assuming that I don't cooperate, which I don't expect to.
