How do you feel about double tracked guitars?

For the song I'm working on, it almost requires there to be double tracked guitars.

I'm actually going to put a lot of effort in this one...
in contrast to everything else I've done...

I might wait until I get a new guitar to record it though,

Unless you guys want me to record a quick demo of it first, let you guys critique it, than I build around that.

But I'm going to dedicate a lot of effort into this song. It's actually pretty good, even though it's pretty short (so far.)

I'll probably use real drums, but than again, I still need a microphone to record them correctly.
