Hampstead cops, And Christians

I just got back from a church. My friends invited me to watch a movie in a church...Me...I don't see why they did it, kind of a dumb-ass thing to do but whatever.

I was throwing snowballs at a sign (well the back of a sign.) A cop car went by, and, to prevent pissing any cops off I stopped throwing until the car went by, I mean...I didn't want to hit the car. But after he was past me, I kept throwing at the sign ( NOT illegal, it was the back of a sign, not hurting anybody) and no cars were even near the road nearby. The cop was bored, so it turned around, and decided to start harassing me.
He motioned to me to come over, asked me what I was doing. I said "I was throwing snowballs at the sign"
He replied "BullShit!"
'I swear to god! I was making sure no cars were going by when I threw the snowballs! Trust me!'
'What's your name?'
'Joe Ruane'
'Are your parents here?'
I pointed to a car behind me, where My mom was, she walked out (not mad at me, she's somewhat too smart to think I would piss off a cop for no good reason) and asked what was going on.
Eventually he got back in his car, I called him a fat-ass, flipped him off, and walked into the church.
His car patrolled around the church for another hour or so.
My friends eventually met me, and we proceeded into the room where the movie was playing.
The one to watch over us, and to correct us for being induvidual was a bitchy ignorant conservative, who was so full of herself, she had the nerve to order us to sit up straight! Any time our posture deteriorated in the slightest way, she lectured us!
I eventually got too fed up to care and started ignoring her, which , to my surprise, resulted in silence.
The movie sucked, 2 words...Robin...Williams.

Just got home, finally.
My friends mom is apparently catholic, and she thought that it would be 'nice' for her daughter to invite us to a church.

And you wonder why I hate [most] Cops, and Conservative Catholics!

I hate where I live, and I hate my house and my neighborhood.

It's awesome isn't it? I used to live in (Near) Seattle, WA.

Not really, but what a dumbass move that was.

The mom sounds like a bitch, but I doubt it had anything to do with her being Catholic/conservative.

And most (if not every) Catholic i've met (at least over 30) is, in every definition of the word, a bitch.
I guess I was going a little overboard, ranting on about conservativism, I'm just overly cynically political

atheist, although I do agree with several Buddhist ideals. Such as meditation eases the mind. Although, I think that there are different forms of meditation, other than deep breathing, and other stereotypical meditation.
But I don't fully believe in reincarnation.
So I guess I'm somewhat of a Nihilistic Buddhist...Kinda...

The meditation thing is actually a Hindu idea, but it was adopted into most branches of Buddhism.
I believe in reincarnation, but I'm not looking forward to it. One life is enough for me.

I actually never knew that Hindu came before Buddhism, I don't really like to research history of the religion, just the basic facts.

I would hate reincarnation. There are [several] days every week that make me feel like I wish I'd never been born at all (Insert Brian May Guitar solo Here)

Well I know that Several Mesopotamian, and Chinese religions are older than Judaism, but If you meant surviving religions, then yea, I'm pretty sure Judaism is the oldest religion.

Well then, if you do ever become a full-assed Buddhist, I'd recommend reading up on the Three Jewels, different branches (I practice Theravada), karma, and how to achieve nirvana. The Three Baskets, which is a key text, is a lot less oppressive than the Bible.
