The hair is pretty annoying also, but only to the point that it is so unrealistic.
Not that I totally support realism in any sort of animation, but it's clearly just laziness, and lack of originality.

Actually... Wolf's Rain isn't too bad. Neither is Claymore. You cannot judge an entire art style because of what's popular and shown on YTV. That's like saying all vampires are shit because of how Twilight portrays them, and completely ignoring Bram Stoker's work, or even Steve Niles work.
Also, you're going to judge something based on the amount of fans it has? Harsh. Simply harsh.

About the vampires, I actually do judge nearly the entire genre. Not the original Dracula, but rather everything after that. It became a new cliche way for people to hinder their own expression through literature, and to hop on a bandwagon.
Any kind of genre of art is bullshit. It's just another way to try to stereotype your own expressions.
I wouldn't hate Anime so much if it wasn't considered art.
But you do make an interesting point, I am judging rather harshly on an entire franchise on its fan's ignorance.
